The pandemic accelerates the adoption of innovations – meet our chatbot on the Czech online portal for entrepreneurs.

The chatbot was developed in record-breaking time and answers most FAQs from entrepreneurs. In only the first two weeks after the launch, over 76,000 visitors to the portal used the chatbot.

OUR ASSIGNMENT is the official government portal for entrepreneurs and trade licence holders with content contributions by 32 government agencies and private organizations and average traffic of 220,000 users per month. It is administered by the CzechTrade agency which reports to the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade. 

Compared to the era of ‘business as usual’, modern communication technology has been adopted at a much higher pace in the context of the most recent development – and entrepreneurs need to react even more swiftly to the rapidly changing business environment.


For the client’s web portal, we designed and applied the chatbot titled Emergency Information.  It is helping to manage the Corona virus emergency and explains the measures adopted in response to the spreading of COVID-19 while answering the most frequently asked questions. The chatbot is specifically designed for entrepreneurs, to whom it explains the latest changes, provides overview of available state aid schemes, manuals, information about quarantine or recommendations for those about to travel.

The chatbot underwent further "training" and learned to respond to many new topics. It explains the conditions of the restrictions for individual services, how the state can help entrepreneurs as well as how to get and apply for a compensation bonus.


Chatbot represents a modern and innovative communication channel enabling a 24/7/365 provision of support and advice. It comes highly instrumental exactly in the current demanding situation as it provides access to the latest information to entrepreneurs and trade licence holders day and night, it keeps a friendly tone of the interaction and is always in a good mood. Since its launch, almost 450,000 users have used the communication with chatbot and as many as 88% of users said they found the answer to their question. This number indicates entrepreneurs satisfaction with this type of communication. At the same time, it has managed to significantly reduce the workload of the otherwise overburdened call centre. The content of the chatbot is continually updated in line with the latest government decrees and other official sources.
